No. Our news reporting has been biased and sometimes even in my opinion incompetent in the things they reported without knowledge in many things i have experience in. Also I listen to the full transcripts of what the president says and then read the news reports and find things constatntly taken out of context and amplified for political gain. Both political side do it but it is unbalanced and being done especially now that the elections are coming up in November.

Hate breeds unhappiness and irrational actions. People will suffer from this and in time people get the idea that the real cause of their suffering is internal and putting the blame on others is not the solution. Trump is a unique leader with a style unlike any before him but i do not see him as he is painted by the news that is plagued with reporting on condition of anonymity and out of context statements. Facebook and social media is in my opinion filled with so much misinformation that is propagated rapidly at least in the cases i have researched . News is for the most part slanted negatively for political purposes . The president in my research immediately condemned the act against George Floyd and is not against peaceful protests and change but the liberal media and both Black and White criminals are using these peaceful protesters to incite riots, loot and destroy both black and white businesses . The average person has got the message of the protests and further proliferation will only destroy our cities. Violence must stop for talks and change to begin. In my experience, the large majority of police here are not like the officers who killed Floyd. I don't see Trump doing anything except to try to protect peoples livelihood. He is not in charge of city or state police but if they can't protect law abiding citizens then he will use the military and i do not object.
As far as COvid-19, most problem areas have been in really big cities and Trump is doing the best he can with what he had to work with. Sure, if you believe everything you read in the papers and fact check every word he says you can paint a picture of him that looks poorly as you can with most anyone. Many other countries (11 of them) had more deaths per population than the US. Austrailia is unique in many ways and its layout does have advantages with the virus. About 90% of the deaths are from large cities and the Federal government makes recommendations but doesn't control them. Governors and Cities have control so while the Federal government takes the heat for not being prepared, why were the states and large cities also not prepared. It's much easier to blame others (Trump) rather than take personal responsibility for your own state or city. We will see how the people really feel in November.

No, i don't think he has a plan but i don't know. Either way the pandemic is bringing some together and whats left will after some suffering find its way past this 'love hate' relationship that Thomas seems to exemplify so well by his comments.
PS. Whether Trump is conscious of it or not, he is being used to further our collective consciousness and while difficult to see is what the US needs right now.

That post is certainly a good example of the division. Note your repeated use of the disrespectful words, impeached, trumpster, and statements like incapable, divider, twitter shutting him up, no credibility, liar, afraid, etc.
It is no secret that this has been brewing for a long time. It is no secret that Washington and newspapers has been a cesspool for leaks and corruption on both sides. People voted for Trump in 2016 because he is not afraid to tell it like it is. How else could he win the republican nomination against 17 other well known major candidates. Trump is not perfect, has a big ego and character flaws as do most all leadership here but he is not part of the system that gives lip service only. The abundance of politically biased newspapers here look for and put a negative rant and out of context quotes on all he does. He must be doing something that deserves a little praise every once in a while but you won't find it in the news and a lot of the people can see through it . Will it be enough to get him re-elected, i don't know. What i do know is those who were in control before have been trying to get rid of him before he was elected and his base of discontents with the media and Washington in general is bigger than you might suppose. We accuse other countries of news propaganda to their people and say we have free press but i think there is more control than we would admit. Even our own parties meddle in our elections . The Hillary emails show that the democratic party sided with Hillary over Bernie Sanders in 2016 and did everything in their power to rob the election from him instead of being neutral and letting the people decide in the primaries. The people THINK they choose the primary candidate for the party but that seems to be the exception rather than the rule. With Trump, the Republican party didn't want him until they saw that people were fed up with the typical groomed politicians whose refined and well mannered and chosen words no longer meant anything to them. In my personal mystical experiences as a temporal creation known as Joseph i (self), while deeply convinced from such that i cannot be separated from God except in my conditioned mind. I have only been able to experience that connection in stillness, without fear and in perfect peace of mind which has lead me to believe that while i am sustained by God while experiencing states filled with emotions whether fear, anger. hate, pride, etc., God is not those things as they are created by the created mind which perishes with the using. I don't see God as a man or woman. While it may seem irreverent, to me, God is closer to an 'it' in human terms. So while it may be fair to say we exist by 'it' and return to 'it', we can only be 'it' as can all of creation in the sense that there is no other. So, does God experience our emotional experiences as you ask? It seems to me, i don't really 'know' the answer but i suspect from my experiences that all answers to that question are nothing but fabricated viewpoints perpetuated by self-ignorance. It certainly doesn't seem fitting to say that that which is subject to decay is God.

In my view you are pretty close to a more profound understanding in your post postulate . I would only differ in the sense that in reality there are no opposites such as love and hate, etc. and such human dichotomy. While human consciousness experiences these things " ( consciousness being a by-product of this body) ceases to exist " as you said, they cannot be God since they are created by human consciousness. Only God actually exists, all else is an illusion. When you love, your human consciousness is experiencing God, when it is absent (love) you call it hate or depression or some other word and feel alienated from God and hostile toward the rest of creation. Only Love (complete acceptance of all things) exists, the rest of our human descriptors are only arbitrary points on that continuum created by an evolving human consciousness that is self , not God. They don't exist (the arbitrary points) except in the mind that ceases to exist therefore they are illusion even though they seem convincingly real. This part needs to be experienced rather than reasoned. God cannot hate or experience fear. Rather it is a temporary evolutionary condition of human consciousness that varies in emotions from emotion levels of humiliation, anxiety, hate, trust, forgiveness, understanding, reverence, serenity, through ineffable at which point ones God view is seen as Self. (capital S)

So, when you hate, God is not hating, the Paul (self) which is to perish is hating. However, when you truly love (not in the traditional sense), it is God shining through Paul that is loving, therefor it is said God is Love.

Good for you. I use the present calendar to communicate with people and it doesn't matter to me who created it or if you think it is pagan or not. It is the Gregorian calendar and more scientifically accurate for the seasons than the Julian calendar used at the time of Jesus.

Not eating out or using the car except for an occasional trip to grocery store for supplies. (with a face mask of course)
Actually saving lots of money just staying home, working sudoku puzzles, cooking and eating in every night and doing small projects in yard and around the house. even though my preference is to be out stimulating the economy more. 😊

Who is the "they" that determined which books were accurate and when? You still have not answered which version of the Bible is most accurate. There are dozens of Christian versions. KJV, NAS, ASV, GW, NIV, NLT, NLS etc. etc. Which version is it that is accurate and infallible?
Then I guess "all" aren;t healed as you posted, only those who have true faith?
If i didn't use the Christian calendar you wouldn't understand what i meant. Where does the law require one to be Christian to use it so that others may understand? It is used by most of the world today and most religions. What's the big deal? It was not introduced until 1582. Christians before that had top use the Julian Roman calendar. So were there no Christians before 1582 because they used a pagan calendar?

And when we die and return to the source, Christina say we bring God ‘information.’What kind of information does God need? We have information on all sorts of things over out time on earth from how to hunt large animals, the initial use of fire, how to build and run a railroad, to baseball stats, etc. – this is information we bring God? And what of the child who was conscious for 7 days and then dies – what possible knowledge could that child bring God?
Why try to figure it all out? In my view, It will indeed bring madness. Most all world religions postulate 3 fundamentals, the world, the individual soul and God. In truth what exists is God (the seer) alone, because all three are One. The only way to know is to become One with awareness. Subject and object will disappear and there will be no questions.

A Joyful Path teaches children to have a deep respect for other religions and paths, while offering the tools and guidance to go out into the world and make a positive impact - on the environment, their communities, and on social justice.

Well Paul, It is extremely difficult from your vantage point to view what is really happening since your input is the mainstream media ( mainline newspapers) whose headlines draw conclusions and state their opinion rather than just research and report facts to the people and allow them to make up their own mind. Scratch social media which is filled with garbage and lies on both sides.
On the church visit it was just 15 minutes before curfew, the site of the day before where destruction of church property and other property took place. The people were asked to vacate the street 3 times after an all day mostly peaceful protest. People defied the order to start clearing out in preparation for the curfew and agitators in the crowd convinced many to stay in defiance so they used a form of gas to disperse the crowd. Most all the major newspapers are extremely liberal and biased against Trump and Republicans. You can research to find which ones report all negatives and have him portrayed as Thomas describes. Fox news is slanted somewhat the other way but is more balanced in my opinion. Got to run. Later gator.
