toty
\Allah God is One, from Adam to Muhammad, peace be upon them But people have turned away from worshiping God according to their own whims It doesn’t make sense that God sends countless Prophets like Noah, Abraham and Moses to tell people to believe in one God, and then suddenly sends a radically different message of the Trinity which contradicts his previous Prophets teachings. It is clear that the sect of Christianity who believed Jesus to be a human Prophet and nothing more, were following the true teachings of Jesus. This is because their concept of God is the same as that which was taught by the Prophets in the Old Testament. The truth is that Jesus preached the same message that the Prophets in the Old Testament preached. There is a passage in the Bible which really emphasizes his core message. A man came to Jesus and asked “Which is the first commandment of all?”Jesus answered, “The first of all the commandments is Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one.’’[Mark 12:28-29]. So the greatest commandment, the most important belief according to Jesus is that God is one. If Jesus was God he would have said ‘I am God, worship me’, but he didn’t. He merely repeated a verse from the Old Testament confirming that God is One. God says in the Qur’anO People of the Book, do not commit excesses in your religion, and do not say anything about God except the truth: the Messiah, Jesus, son of Mary, was nothing more than a messenger of God, His word, directed to Mary and a spirit from Him. So believe in God and His Messengers and do not speak of a ‘Trinity’– stop [this], that is better for you– God is only one God, He is far above having a son, everything in the heavens and earth belongs to Him and He is the best one to trust. [4:171] Islam is not just another religion. It is the same message preached by Moses, Jesus and Abraham. Islam literally means ‘submission to God’ and it teaches us to have a direct relationship with God. It reminds us that since God created us, no one should be worshipped except God alone. It also teaches that God is nothing like a human being or like anything that we can imagine. The concept of God is summarized in the Quran as: “Say, He is God, the One. God, the Absolute. He does not give birth, nor was He born, and there is nothing like Him.” (Quran 112:1-4)[4] U.S. Soldier Leaves Islam - Goes To Iraq War & Converts To Islam Again?! w. Once upon a time there were risks with eating pork (like 1400-2500 years ago), but humankind having developed over the centuries, much like health/medicine/science etc, people have learnt how to safely farm, store and prepare pork. 5 hours ago, toty said: God placed in the common sense of man not to eat an animal that eats its waste But ignore many other animals that humas eat and are known to consume their own feces - like dog and guinea pig - yet no mention of those! Personally - I think you're right about Jesus - he was simply a man, just like Mohammad. Both had beliefs that they shared with the world. Both gave a message that was grounded in their cultural & societal context, and for their time. 5 hours ago, toty said: Islam is not just another religion. Was he manipulated by Satan and dishonest or your book? It is clear that you and your book are dishonest and have no integrity Islam will not benefit anything from your distorted books Why did Allah Reveal the Quran Last, 1400 years Ago. He should have Revealed it First ... - Dr Zakir \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\ The calendar year of Islam begins not with the birthday of our prophet (peace be upon him) not from the time that the revelation came to him (Bethat) nor from the time of his ascension to heaven, but with the migration (Hijra) from an undesirable environment into a desirable place to fulfill Allah's command. It was migration from a plot that was set by the leaders of the Quraysh who were plotting to kill prophet Muhammad, and to destroy the truth that today is being conveyed to mankind everywhere against tyranny and injustice. Their purpose was to destroy the foundation of the Islamic state, the Sunnah of the tradition of the prophet, and to prevent the revelation being delivered by Allah's messenger to mankind. The Islamic calendar is reckoned from the time of migration (Hijra) of Prophet Mohammad (Peace Be Upon Him) from Mecca to Madina. The Prophet's decision to migrate from Mecca came after several years of inhuman treatment of the faithful by the powerful tribes who were united despite all their feuds to stop the spread of Islam. Prophet Mohammad's decision to leave Mecca coincided with the infidel's plan to assassinate him. In 622 AD, the Quresh tribesmen held a meeting and decided that a band of young men, one from each tribe, should assassinate Prophet Mohammad collectively so that their responsibility for the murder could not be placed on any particular tribe. On the eventful night, the Prophet asked his cousin Ali Ben Abutalib to take his place in bed to make the Meccans think that he was asleep. The Prophet himself slipped out unobserved alongwith his loyal follower Abu Bakr (who was chosen as the first C aliph after the death of the prophet). They secretly made their way to a cave named Thawr, not far from Mecca and lay in hiding there for a day or two until Abu Bakr's son reported that the search for him had been given up. Then the two set out from Madina on camel back. They reached Quba, on the edge of the Madina oasis, on 12th Rabiul Awwal. With Mohammad's arrival in Quba a new phase of his career and glory of Islam started. This migration has a special significance in the history of Islam. It ended the Meccan period of humiliation and torture and began the era of success. His own people to whom he preached Islam for 13 years neglected the Prophet of Islam. But he was cordially received in Madina as an honored chief. In Madina his power enhanced day by day. Here he was not only the religious leader but took the role of a politician and statesman too. Prophet Mohammad expired ten years after his migration to Madina but only in one decade he changed the course of human history. In view of this special significance of the Prophet's migration the consultative body advised the Second Islamic Caliph, Omar ben Khattab, to start the Islamic year from the date of migration of the Prophet from Mecca to Madina. According to early Moslem scholars, Abu Musa Al Shari drew attention of Omar to an improperly dated debenture or IOU which was payable in the month of Shaban but it was not clear which Shaban was actually meant, the present one or the coming one. Omar called the dignitaries for consultation who made several suggestions to begin the Islamic calendar. Ali (who later became the fourth caliph) suggested the Hijra as the beginning of the Islamic year with Moharram as its first month. Consequently, Caliph Omar in 21 A.H. or 641 A.D introduced the Islamic calendar in its present form. QURANIC GUIDANCE The guidance about the Islamic calendar is taken from the following verses from the Holy Quran: (In the name of GOD most gracious and most merciful) "Lo the number of the months with God is twelve months." IX:36. "They ask thee, of new moons. Say: They are fixed seasons for mankind and for the pilgrimage." II:189. "He it is who appointed the sun a splendor and the moon a light, and measured for her stages, that ye might know the number of the years, and the reckoning." X:5 The Islamic Calendar of 12 Lunar Months is determined by observation of the new moon with no effort by intercalation (addition) or other means to synchronize the Lunar year with the Solar year. toty
All the prophecies mentioned in the Old Testament regarding Muhammad (pbuh) besides applying to the Jews also hold good for the Christians. 1. John chapter 14 verse 16:“And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you forever.” 2. Gospel of John chapter 15 verse 26:“But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, whichproceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me.” 3.Gospel of John chapter 16 verse 7: “Nevertheless I tell you the truth; it is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you”. “Ahmed” or “Muhammad” meaning “the one who praises” or “the praised one” is almost the translation of theGreek word Periclytos. In the Gospel of John 14:16, 15:26, and 16:7. The word ‘Comforter’ is used in the English translation for the Greek word Paracletos which means advocate or a kind friend rather than a comforter.Paracletos is the warped reading for Periclytos. Jesus (pbuh) actually prophesised Ahmed by name. Even theGreek word Paraclete refers to the Prophet (pbuh) who is a mercy for all creatures. Some Christians say that the Comforter mentioned in these prophecies refers to the Holy Sprit. They fail to realisethat the prophecy clearly says that only if Jesus (pbuh) departs will the Comforter come. The Bible states that theHoly Spirit was already present on earth before and during the time of Jesus (pbuh), in the womb of Elizabeth, and again when Jesus (pbuh) was being baptised, etc. Hence this prophecy refers to none other than Prophet Muhammad (pbuh). 4. Gospel of John chapter 16 verse 12-14: “I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now. Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth is come, he will guide you unto all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. toty
the Biblical tradition does not say this. What matters is what Jesus says about God, Christ said 3 Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent. John 17:3 Christ did not claim divinity and restricted divinity to God (the Father) alone He did not say that he is a god or that the Holy Spirit is a god Jesus is called the Messiah in Matthew 1:16. In fact, every time someone says, “Jesus Christ,” he is referring to Jesus as the Messiah, since Christ means “Messiah” or “Anointed One.” The Old Testament predicts the Messiah, and the New Testament reveals the Messiah to be Jesus of Nazareth. John 4:29 "Come see a man who knew all about the things I did, who knows me inside and out. Do you think this could be the Messiah?" In Islam the messiah is a chosen one, promised to the children of Israel (Jews) and sent to them, to amend some of the mosaic law and lift some of the burdens placed on them, to call them back to Allah and give them good news of a Kingdom of God (heaven) for those that would answer his call and obey him. This messiah was Jesus, but the Jews wanted a political leader who would revolt against the Romans, not a spiritual leader who would remind them of the afterlife. Thus, they attempted to have him killed when he claimed to be the messiah, but Allah (God) saved him and raised him up to the heavens before they could harm him. He will return in the end of times and affirm the message of Islam (submission to the one God) break the cross (make clear that he never claimed to be God, nor was he killed) kill the antichrist (the false messiah, a man who will come at the end of time who will actually claim to be God, but will then be killed by Jesus, the antichrist will then burn in hell in the afterlife) complete his mission, and then Jesus will die a natural death. He will then be raised on the day of judgement, disavow all the worship of him that humanity did instead of worshipping God alone, and be amongst the most honored human beings in the afterlife. PaulS
11 hours ago, toty said: Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign: The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel. ◄ Isaiah 7:14 ► 'Virgin' is also a misrepresentation of the original Hebrew word used in Isaiah for 'young woman'. Mathew (and the Septuagint in Isaiah) incorrectly used the word 'virgin' is his Gospel because he used a Greek version of the Old Testament which incorrectly translated the Hebrew word for 'young girl' into 'virgin'. The Gospel of Matthew presents Jesus's ministry as largely the fulfilment of prophecies from Isaiah, but in the time of Jesus the Israelite Jews no longer spoke Hebrew, and Isaiah had to be translated into Greek and Aramaic, the two commonly used languages. The Greek translation, the Septuagint, translated the word almah, meaning a young woman of childbearing age who had not yet given birth, as parthenos in the Greek, which means virgin. Matthew 1:23 quotes the verse verbatim from the Septuagint. The one alteration is that the phrase "they shall name" is changed to "you shall name." This switches the meaning somewhat from Immanuel being a title proclaimed by the people to a name given by Joseph. The author of Matthew still treats the name as more of a title as Joseph actually names his son Jesus. The Masoretic text has the unspecified "and shall name". Further, this 'prohecy' has nothing to do with a future 'Messiah', but rather in its context for its time, is referring to somebody that would arise and defeat Assyria for King Ahaz. The writer of Isaiah was apoplectic, and wanted to convince Ahaz that Assyria would soon fall. A boy named Immanuel will be born, the prophet predicted, and before he knows right from wrong — that is, reaches maturity — Judah’s rivals will lay in ruins. Most Christians, and it would seem many Muslims, actually misunderstand this whole story and have bought into the dogma that it is considered a prophecy of Jesus. toty
cleanliness is not only limited to the physical aspect but also extends to the environment. Muslims are required to keep their surroundings clean and pure. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) taught that a person’s cleanliness is half of their faith. He also emphasized the importance of cleaning one’s home, removing any impurities and keeping it tidy. In Islam, personal hygiene is considered an essential part of maintaining good health. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) advised Muslims to brush their teeth regularly, trim their nails, and groom themselves. He also encouraged Muslims to take a bath regularly and wear clean clothes. Islam also teaches the importance of maintaining cleanliness in food and drink. Muslims are required to consume only halal (permissible) food and avoid eating or drinking anything that is considered impure. Muslims are also encouraged to wash their hands before and after eating, and to use clean utensils. Cleanliness is a fundamental teaching of Islam, and it is considered an essential aspect of the religion.
