victoria plum Posted October 21, 2006 Posted October 21, 2006 Hullo, I am Vix and a veteran Christian forum poster. I started on the BBC several years ago and have posted on Premier, Sparrows, 4church and others. It is very difficult for me to describe myself and my beliefs but I tend towards liberal Christianity. My background is Catholic and I feel great affinity with the Society of Friends but no intention of joining any other denomination now. I am on a journey (aren't we all?), and am something of a free spirit. I found this forum by googling 'Liberal Christian forum' and my initial impression is that it is very interesting. I look forward to getting to know you and hopefully will feel confident enough to post in due course. Though I don't recognise any user names so far there may be some on here who know me from elsewhere. On a personal level I am 56 years old, married for thirty one years and have one grown up son. I live in South East London.
Realspiritik Posted October 21, 2006 Posted October 21, 2006 Cool! Another person who spells colour with a "u" (if I don't presume too much). Lovely to have you here. Thanks for introducing yourself. Love Jen

smittims Posted October 29, 2006 Posted October 29, 2006 I know victoria plum from the BBC Christian Topic Message Board,to which I invite all progressive Christians. We need you,as it is too polarised at present between atheists and fundamentalists.
