Just What Is Progressive Christianity To You ?

I think of Progressive Christianity as primarily 2 things: 1) Relationship is more important than doctrine. Which is why I must remain in the Church (in my case the US Episcopal Church) 2) The metaphorical meaning of things (especially the stories of the Bible) is more important than the literal. From that, while I have problems with the idea of an "God" out there, I find myself more drawn to the idea of God as "Being". Hope to learn more in time. Gary
