Lemony Posted December 14, 2016 Posted December 14, 2016 Hi! I'm new on this forum. I'm Dutch, I go to an Anglican Church in my home country. We worship in English. The members are from all over the world and there are many different views, which is interesting. I'm currently discussing with an American lady how we can make the church more LGBT inclusive. Most people in our church prefer to pretend like it's a non-issue . In my personal life, I'm almost done with my undergraduate degree, I am a student in European Studies, which is mainly focused on international politics and European languages. I recently got engaged with my boyfriend of almost 7 years, we're planning to get married in the summer of 2018 . 1 Quote
thormas Posted December 15, 2016 Posted December 15, 2016 Welcome Lemony, look forward to discussions. Just out of curiosity, why are they pretending it is a non issue? Quote

soma Posted December 16, 2016 Posted December 16, 2016 Welcome Lemony, and congratulations on your relationship. With LGBTs joining your congregation everyone should grow mentally and spiritually even just thinking of making them welcome is growth. Quote
