It’s nice to be here with you all. It has only been recently that I’ve realized that I was an “a-churchist” rather than an “atheist”, as Roger Wolsey puts it. That makes much more sense to me than the idea that I went from loving God and being 100% gung-ho about Methodism to just not feeling it in the period of maybe a few weeks. But I like this progressive Christianity. I like knowing that I can still call myself a Christian while still reading the Bible and experiencing God, life, everything, the way that I do. I’m not sure if I’ll be posting much, I usually prefer to listen. That’s how I got to this point in the first place. If I change my mind on that though, well, you’ll be the first to know!

Greeting Ecc3,

Thanks for the introduction. Feel free to share or just listen in as you see fit. Glad to have you here and hoping you will benefit from the exchanges in our large database. It seems to me your "experiencing God" is much more fruitful than just experiencing church. :)

Again welcome,

Joseph

Welcome Ecc3,

I hope you enjoy it here whether joining in on discussions or just reading. There's also a lot of previous threads on all sorts of subjects in the Archive section.

Cheers

Paul
