PerpetualSeeker Posted June 29, 2013 Posted June 29, 2013 I can't figure out how to use the quoting feature. Could someone kindly lend a hand in explaining? Much appreciated, Bob Quote
JosephM Posted June 29, 2013 Posted June 29, 2013 I can't figure out how to use the quoting feature. Could someone kindly lend a hand in explaining? Much appreciated, Bob Bob, I am using google chrome and clicked on the quote tab at the bottom right of your post and it appears as shown. As simple as that unless you just want to quote a portion of a post. Joseph Quote
JosephM Posted June 29, 2013 Posted June 29, 2013 (edited) I can't figure out how to use the quoting feature. Could someone kindly lend a hand in explaining? This one is using IE to do the same thing. I then went back and edited it to remove all but the first 2 sentences using the edit button and deleting the part i didn't want to copy. JosephM Posted June 29, 2013 Posted June 29, 2013 (edited) You can also manually quote by using copy and paste using this format but substituing a left and right bracket sign [ ] for the parenticies signs which enabled me to show you what the code looks like without actually making the quote box.Joseph(quote name="PerpetualSeeker" post="39345" timestamp="1372506267")I can't figure out how to use the quoting feature. Could someone kindly lend a hand in explaining?Much appreciated,Bob(/quote) PS when doing it manually you can leave out the post="39345" timestamp="1372506267" part and using [ ] it will appear like this below. Hope i have helped rather than confused you. I can't figure out how to use the quoting feature.
