Hi,

 

I'm actually not just new to this site but also new to posting so I hope I'm doing it the right way.

I am a liberal in everything. My view on life is freedom to live as one chooses provided no one else is harmed in the process. I stumbled on this site doing some research on John Shelby Spong. I have not read any of his books yet but have a couple of them on hold at my local library.

 

I have been doing a lot of reading and research in the past year on near death experiences, other realms, mediumship and history along with the history of Christianity. I am a very open-minded individual and try to use critical thinking and what just seems to ring true or makes sense in my very limited earthy brain. My philosophy is "take what you want and leave the rest".

 

I look forward to many "spirited" conversations.

I think many here share your liberal thinking and the freedom that it entails as you say "provided no one else is harmed in the process."

Some favourite words of mine happen to be written by Ben Harper in his song Burn One Down - "my choice is what I choose to do, and if I'm causing no harm it shouldn't bother you. Your choice is who you choose to be, and if your causin' no harm then you're alright with me".
