roymercer
In England we have Chistian Unitarian churches that are part of the greater Unitarian movement. I attended one as a change to my local Anglican church. I was made welcome and felt at home there. Unfortunatly it was a ninety minutes drive away and that is a long way in England. ProtestantJeffry
I have a tremendous love for the Unitarian Universalist Church. But I go to the United Methodist Church still, because while I certainly believe in religious pluralism, my own particular religious experience is very Christian specific. My worship has to speak "Christianese," as Marcus Borg likes to call it. The UU church does not offer that to my liking as much as I personally need. The theology at UU church is great. It is the style and foundation of worship that don't work for my personal needs.
