romanpantera Posted January 14, 2012 Share Posted January 14, 2012 Inferno Canto 1: When I had journeyed half of life's way, I found myself within a shadowed forest, for I had lost the path that does not stray. Many years ago now when I was about fourteen I read Dante, long before I was a christian and now I am forty eight years old, it is wonderful how those early influences come back later in life to inform your heart. For much of my christian life I have been a charismatic, but left that behind five years ago, as I felt that I could no longer subscribe to the fundamentalist views that the church was adopting as faith. So now I am on a journey of discovery to find out and understand all those things that it was not possible to learn in my previous church life.
