Just How Old Are You?

I was catching up reading some threads and was struck by

 

This is so new to me

I didn't know there were other people who felt this way

I have just had my blinders taken off

My training wheels are gone

 

These aren't direct quotes and I know that we are ever transforming and becoming and some times the light flashes hotter but we often sound like teenagers and college students away from home for the first time. Don't you think? Isn't it great?

Yes, and somewhat...scary, in a good way. Many PCs are admitting that we just have to live with the Mystery, with the Questions, with the Call into the future that promises us, not security, but experience and transformation.

 

I was listening to a PC podcast yesterday where the speaker said that religion or even Christianity might go away, but what will never go away is the human capacity to sit and gaze into the distance or into the depths.
