  2. Hello everyone! So when I grew up in a more conservative Christian church, I was familiar with apologetics (arguing for the existence of God), but looking back it seems to be a field dominated by evangelical types who can often seem to come to a conclusion first then arrange evidence to match it. I've been wanting to look around for progressive Christian apologetics, but it seems to either be on the conservative extreme or deep in the other direction from people claiming that we should follow the Bible's guidelines but God is just metaphorical etc. Is anyone familiar with solid works that argue for Christianity/God in a relatively familiar form, without dipping into belief in e.g. Young Earth Creationism? Thanks!
