  1. Hi Steve - Ive read the Gulley book, well worth reading! (as are all his books!) I see you are new here like me, what other authors do you like? Ive been reading Philip Gulley Philip Yancey, and Dallas Willard recently.
  2. Rivanna - Thanks for your reply, thats a very interesting quote by Yancey. Im reading the Grace book right now, and absolutely loving it. He just seems very thoughtful, very caring, and offers a greater understanding of what "Grace" means.
  3. Hi everyone - Ive just started a Philip Yancey book and I love it. Im very curious about his views on "other religions" and whether people from other faiths are with God. Although I have found numerous interviews with him on the internet, I cant seem to find anything about his thoughts on people of other faiths, and their paths to God. Any ideas? Zaidagal
  4. I have found that there are conservative and progressive branches within many denominations, depending on where you live, and the leadership of the parish. Saying that, the Episcopalian Church I attend is very progressive. It offers the beauty of a Catholic type service (very High Church), and communion every Sunday, but the leadership, the sermons, and the over all feeling is progressive and liberal.
