  2. a bit of shameless advertising. Got my blog up and guess it counts for a resource My Weblog
  3. My reading of the second narrative is one about advancement of the human race, one that is growing up - and the question of mere temptations or wrong choices pales in significance to the issues that maturing minds have to grasp with. I'm going to link this to piece I wrote in my blog Heh shameless advertising here Do comment.
  4. Jesus' second coming is, unfortunately, a mistaken belief of the early Christians'. However, it is interesting to note the theological meanings that this event (which has turned symbolic) continues to accumulate.
  5. 'Jesus is God' is a proclamation of faith, not a statement of belief. Even is Jesus is not God, Jesus is still God, because I choose to see Jesus as the Icon of God; and this is still true even if God is proven not to exist.
  6. At the Methodist School where I work the faculty raves about the movie. My mother thinks her life will never be the same again. I am contemplating hosting a BDSM party at a theatre Thank goodness my bishop is more cautious towards it, noting that it is theologically deficient in his Maundy Thursday homily. It is no doubt anti-semitic, just as all the canonical gospels are anti-semitic. The problem lies with Christians who cannot accept that sacred writings are contextual to societies - warts and all, that the anti-semitism in the bible is bad.
