I am a youth minister of a church in North Carolina. As a youth minister, I get alot of mail from various agency encouraging my group to go to a certain camp or event. However. many of these events are very conservative and hyper-evangelical. As I plan my calander of youth events, I am having a hard time finding events or retreat planned for youth that are ecumenical and progressive. Do any of you know of any progressive retreats or events aimed for youth in the southeast section of the U.S?

I wish you were on the West Coast. If you want to set up your own retreat, I can help you with a schedule or ideas. I offer to give free workshops on Christian Mysticism, Christian Enlightenment on the West Coast, but most are conservative like you said.
