I found this site by accident. To be honest, I've never even heard of progressive christianity, then I read those 8 descriptions of what it means to be 'progressive', and I somehow felt compelled to join this group, if only to discuss my own convictions with a people that 'seem' to be more on par with what I myself believe.

I'm not sure what I'm looking for, nor what to expect from joining this group, but I do know that it can't hurt to consider the progressive movement. I certainly do NOT fit the typical Christian bill, so... Honestly, I don't even know if I could be considered 'Christian' at all, lol!

Anyway, I look forward to the dialog that's sure to follow my questions, and maybe, just maybe, I will have found a home?

If not, no harm done, right?

Namaste!

"You do not need to do anything; you do not need to leave your room. Remain sitting at your table and listen. You do not even need to listen; just wait. You do not even need to wait; just become still, quiet and solitary and the world will freely offer itself to you to be unmasked. It has no choice. It will roll in ecstasy at your feet." -- Franz Kafka
