Ok, I know I've brought this up in other topics as side-notes and whatnot, but I was wondering if anyone else here was reading anything by either of these two amasing men of God? Paramhansa Yogananda was a Guru from the Kriya school of Yoga (mystical Hinduism) who died back in the '40's if I remember correctly. He came to the US back in the first half of the 1900's and spent most of his life teaching in the West. He lectured a lot, in addiiton to writing like crazy, and swami Kriyananda, one of his closest disciples, is carrying on his work for him, continuing to publish books. I personally don't think either of them have written anything that isn't worth reading, however I may be a bit biased, as my beliefs are based primarily on their teachings. However, the first thing you should read before any of their either stuff are their autobiographies "Autobiography of a Yogi", and "the Path: Autobiography of a Western Yogi", by Yogananda and Kriyananda respectively.

I'm a reader and kriyaban. Reading the Autobiography and learning the kriya path started me on a journey that ultimately helped me reclaim my Christian faith in a strong way. I hope it brings you peace.
