TCPC Message Board: Neede: Executive Director, Campus Ministry Center - TCPC Message Board

The Campus Ministry Center at Miami University is seeking a new full-time Executive Director to begin July 1, 2005. The Center provides an ecumenical, multi-faceted ministry which is supported by many denominations including African Methodist Episcopal, American Baptist, Episcopal, Friends Meeting, Presbyterian, United Church of Christ, United Methodist, Unitarian and the Ohio Campus Ministries.

The Campus Ministry Center provides opportunities for spiritual development to all in the campus community through a holistic ministry that includes fellowship, study and discussion, leadership training, and community service.

The Executive Director is responsible for planning, organizing, and executing the programs, activities and services of the ministry, supervising the building operations and implementing a facilitative and inclusive style of campus ministry.

The Director is supported by an active Student Leadership Board, three student interns and a graduate assistant.

Compensation includes salary, health benefits, pension and housing. Consideration of applications will begin February 22, 2005 and will be accepted until the position is filled.
